Stéphane Ulcakar joins the financial services practice of Arthur D. Little

Global management consulting firm Arthur D. Little has appointed Stéphane Ulcakar as associate director of its financial services practice.

Based in Dubai, Ulcakar will lead Arthur D. Little’s financial services offerings to businesses and governments. He will work with governments and funds across the region on topics including corporate banking, capital optimization, fintech strategies and improving financial inclusion.

Ulcakar brings to the firm more than 20 years of experience as a strategy consultant and banker, having previously served EY-Parthenon, Strategy&, Boston Consulting Group and Bain & Company in consulting, and Société Générale and Lombard Odier in banking. .

Some of the “flagship innovative projects” Ulcakar has worked on include advising governments and central banks in creating national fintech strategies, building digital banks, and developing financial services branches for telecom operators.

Ulcakar, who has worked from Paris, Frankfurt and more recently Moscow, has also supported governments in the Middle East and Central Asia on topics related to national growth strategies, elimination of the underground economy, development of the financial sector and innovation supported by finance.
