The Prime Minister’s Grassroots Funding Program is the cornerstone of economic initiatives for citizens. Whether it’s direct cash transfers, Corona funding, the Prime Minister’s Kisan scheme, wage increases under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, health insurance life and health insurance; the first step of all these schemes, the opening of a bank account for all eligible, is almost complete.
One of the two such accounts launched is the Prime Minister’s People’s Fund account. Within ten days of the nationwide shutdown, the incentives were credited to the accounts of over Rs 20 million of women who had accounts under the Prime Minister’s People’s Funding Scheme.
The People’s Finance Program enabled the poor to invest their savings in formal financial institutions, send funds to their families in the villages and free them from the clutches of loan sharks. The program helped unbanked people open bank accounts.
It has also expanded India’s financial infrastructure and provided inclusive financial services to all who qualify. In the current era of Corona, we have witnessed fast and seamless money transfer through direct money transfer, which has provided financial security to the weakest sections of society.
The main feature of Direct Remittance is that every rupee spent by the government reaches the rightful beneficiary and errors found in government procedures have been avoided. Appreciate the Prime Minister’s grassroots fundraising program!
