Bank will reward workers with improved financial services

The Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON) has commended Life Mate Group for manufacturing products with locally sourced materials that boost the local economy, create more employment opportunities and improve the living conditions of Nigerians .
SON Managing Director Farouk Salim said this during a press conference to launch the Lifemate 2022 hot sale and presale mode this weekend in Lagos.
Salim, who was represented by SON’s state coordinator, Moshood Shittu, said the company, with its diverse range of locally made products, also contributed to the state and federal government through its tax. on personal and corporate income.
“This company has been around for about 20 years and in the past, furniture was imported into Nigeria and due to transportation costs which ultimately drive up the cost of the product, the company decided to go into local production to break down these barriers.
“We are happy that the company uses local raw materials in its production. This creates jobs for our large population.
“Lifemate has contributed to the reduction of unemployment by recruiting staff locally and thereby contributing to the socio-economic development of Nigeria,” he said.
Salim noted that the company has been subject to the Mandatory Conformity Assessment Program (MANCAP) certification program as its products have been certified.
Life mate Group Regional Manager Lekki Jessica Xiong while giving the business model said the company is one of the overseas investors who source the raw materials locally and produce the product locally to provide jobs for the inhabitants of the country.
She said it has also helped eliminate the high cost of shipping raw materials and furniture to the country, which is why the products are affordable.
Xiong listed the company’s multiple furniture categories ranging from office, home, kitchen and sanitary ware, indoors and outdoors to meet the demands of the Nigerian people.
She said the company’s hot-selling model is to ensure that products are affordable, while taking into account the country’s economic situation and ensuring that people live comfortably at home.
The showroom manager, Amaka Chiemena, said the furniture model is to improve customer loyalty as well as the furniture industry in the country.
She said the company produces furniture that suits the tastes and needs of the Nigerian people at an affordable cost that customers will appreciate.
